Our claws are made from cellulose acetate — a premium, plant-based material derived from natural fibers like cotton and wood pulp. Unlike plastic, acetate has a richer depth of color and a beautiful, almost glassy translucence. It’s strong yet flexible, which means a more comfortable grip and less breakage over time.

Each claw is individually cut, shaped, and hand-polished, giving it a smooth finish and sculptural feel. No two pieces are exactly the same — that’s the charm of slow-crafted acetate.

Our current claws are best for fine to medium hair types — but don’t worry, we’re cooking something up for our thicker-haired friends.

For now, Lino and Omi offer secure hold for most styles, while Bisca is perfect for finer hair or half-up looks.

To keep your claw in its best shape, avoid dropping it or leaving it in hot places (like inside a car). Wipe clean with a soft cloth if needed.

Not always! Due to the nature of acetate, each claw may have slight variations in pattern and color — we think it adds to the charm.

Each piece is carefully handcrafted in a small factory in China, where we work closely with our production partners to ensure quality and consistency. Slight variations in color and finish are part of the handmade process — and we think that makes every claw a little more special.
